Anniversaries
Wedding anniversaries are run at no charge in The Lake Cities Sun. Include all information and a current photo as well as one taken on the couple’s wedding day. Anniversary information must be received within 30 days of the anniversary.

Back issues
Back issues of The Lake Cities Sun are usually available for up to one year. A specific date must be requested. Research is available for $25 per hour with a one hour minimum.

Births
Birth announcements are run at no charge in The Lake Cities Sun. Announcements should include full name, weight, length, parents and their city, siblings and their ages, grandparents and their hometown. Include a clear photo as well. An online birth announcement form can be found at www.lakecities.com. Birth announcements must be submitted within 30 days of the baby’s birth.

Calendar
The Calendar of Events is run weekly in The Lake Cities Sun. This includes organizational meetings, fundraisers, etc. Churches that advertise weekly are also welcome to submit calendar items.

Churches
Churches are encouraged to run a small ad on the Church Directory, published weekly. Those churches that do advertise are encouraged to send in information about their special events.

Classified Ads
Classified ads are a low-cost way to advertise in The Lake Cities Sun. Ads run $10 per week and up and classified ads run in The Lake Cities Sun, The Argyle Sun and on our websites: www.littleelm.com, www.lakecities.com and www.MyArgyleTexas.com. Internships
Sun Newspapers works with news and photography interns from the University of North Texas as well as other colleges and sometimes high school students. Internships are arranged around a student’s interest and schedule and provide excellent resume material.

Location
Sun Newspapers is located at 275 Market Street in the Lake Dallas Dowtown District. We’re located in the historic Woodmen of the World building built in 1908 and restored by us for our use. Our office is located one block off of Main Street, behind the fire station and next to the downtown water tower.

Parents and coaches are encouraged to submit sports write-ups and photos to be included in the sports pages.

Sports Calendar
The sports calendar is published weekly in The Lake Cities Sun throughout the school year and includes all Lake Dallas High School junior varsity and varsity sports events.

Subscriptions
Mailed subscriptions are available for The Lake Cities Sun. A one year subscription is $25 for those in Denton County and $35 for those outside of Denton County.
